A Palestinian writer, poet, and satirist from Gaza City. He writes essays and satirical literary prose, using black humour, bitterness, and direct criticism to expose the political and social contradictions of Palestinian life. He has published three books: A Homeland Out of Coverage, A Half-Baked Homeland, and What’s-It-Called. Through them, he addresses occupation, political division, corruption, and questions of identity and the future. Under genocide, his satire has turned into suppressed anger and grief, while writing has remained for him a form of testimony, survival, and resistance to abandonment. He now writes from Deir al-Balah, where he was forcibly displaced from Gaza City, continuing to send love from Gaza—and anguish.
